Garlic & Lemon Sautéed Greens
"Kale is a hormone hero — as a cruciferous vegetable, it contains indole-3-carbinol (I3C), a protective compound that supports the liver with oestrogen detoxification. Not only this, kale is packed with vitamins A, C and K to support immunity, skin health, bone health and eye health. The garlic adds antimicrobial effects to support immunity, and the extra virgin olive oil provides healthy fat to increase the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins," says nutritional therapist Alexa Mullane.
