How To Manifest Your Best Year Yet
Forget willpower. Roxy Marrone shares how awareness, intention and nervous-system regulation can help you finally stick to your goals.
Did you know that according to Forbes, 94% of people who make New Year’s resolutions fail to keep them after just nine months? Unsurprising, really, considering that along with the new year comes a surge of panic and the “I need to get my life together” energy — the very energy that rarely creates sustainable, long-lasting results. So let me tell you what does, so we can make 2026 your best year yet.
Hi, I’m Roxy, co-founder of eyeam and a holistic practitioner in hormone, nutrition, and nervous system health. I’ve hosted countless manifesting and vision board events where attendees see real payoff, and I’m going to tell you why. But first, let’s go back to basics: what is manifesting?
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, manifesting is “willing (something) into being by the exercise of mental powers or through force of belief”. It’s tied to the Law of Attraction, the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person’s life. And the concept is ancient: the first recorded manifestation is thought to be in the Bible, with God creating the world with His words. Genesis 1:3: “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”
Notice how it says “He said” and “there was.” A simple act of declaration brought a result into existence — the very essence of manifestation. And if you want to really explore how words can impact reality, look into Masaru Emoto’s heavily debated water study, which suggests that human consciousness, emotions, and words can alter water’s molecular structure, forming beautiful ice crystals with positive words and distorted ones with negative words. Of course, there are plenty of arguments both for and against this, but it’s this underlying principle that guides manifestation: your words, mind, and beliefs shape your life.
So, here’s how you can harness manifestation to make 2026 your best year:
1. Develop awareness
Awareness is the first step to manifesting, because you can’t break habits you’re unconscious of. What you don’t notice will continue to run your life on autopilot.
Awareness exercise: At the end of each day, write down:
- One moment you felt triggered, drained, or reactive
- What you did automatically in that moment (thought, action, or coping habit)
- What you were actually needing underneath it
No fixing, no judging — just noticing. Awareness creates choice, and choice is where change begins.
2. Get clear on who you want to be
Clarity creates alignment. When you get clear on who you want to be and feel — not just what you want to achieve — you start making decisions that naturally match that version of you.
Vision board exercise: Picture your future self and ask:
- How do you move through your day?
- What emotions do you feel most often?
- How do you respond to stress, success, and rest?
- What habits, beliefs, and boundaries define you?
Use your answers to create a vision board with words, images, and symbols that reflect your life and energy, not just outcomes. Place it somewhere you’ll see daily to remind yourself: “What would they choose today?”
3. Raise your vibration to attract your goals
Everything is energy. As Nikola Tesla said, “if you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration”. Raising your vibration means aligning your thoughts, habits, and environment with what feels authentic and expansive.
If we measure frequencies (including emotions) in hertz, gratitude is over 500 Hz, while anger is around 150 Hz. Low-frequency states are linked to negative thinking and mental health challenges, while higher frequencies support emotional resilience and cognitive function.
Vibration-raising exercise:
Say three things you’re grateful for every day. This simple habit literally raises your frequency, improving your quality of life and supporting your path to your future self. I’ve shared more vibration-raising tips in my free e-book, Your Diet Isn’t Only What You Eat.
4. Subconscious re-programming to unblock fear and step into faith
The only person in your way is you. When you change what’s running beneath the surface, your actions naturally follow. Affirmations are a powerful tool, shown to increase neuroplasticity (the creation of new pathways in the brain), but their benefits only work when repeated daily.
Affirmation exercise:
Speak aloud positive statements you want to be true starting with “I am,” e.g., I am abundant, I am healed, I am successful. If you’re stuck, use the opposite of how you feel: “I am unlovable” becomes “I am so loved.”
I love affirmations so much that I incorporated them as part of the application of products in my wellness brand, eyeam. And remember, a great time to say them is while doing your skincare in the mirror — an easy way to stack habits to make them an automatic daily habit!
Remember, lasting change doesn’t happen at the surface level. It happens when the nervous system feels safe, the mind is rewired, and the body remembers how to regulate.
Lots of love,
Roxy
