Christmas Spiced Chai Porridge With Pear & Pecans

Ingredients

  • 100g oats
  • 480ml almond milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 pear, sliced
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 30g pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp maple syrup 

Method

1. Simmer oats, almond milk and spices in a pan until creamy.

2.  Lightly cook pear in coconut oil until golden.

3.  Serve porridge topped with pear, pecans and optional maple.
