Richa Maheshwari is a multidisciplinary professional bridging technology, artisan craft and contemporary design. After 15 years building software at SAP, she pivoted towards purpose, returning to the "land of artists" and her ancestral home. In 2023, she founded Boito, a love letter to indigenous craft, mythology and slow living. As a luxury fashion and art label, Boito champions Odisha's craft and textile traditions, reimagining them for a global stage.
Her work, a quiet rebellion against mass production, has been recognised across international art and design platforms including Burning Man, XTANT, The Great Elephant Migration and the Hyundai Translocal Series, a tri-part exhibition between India, South Korea and the United Kingdom. She thrives at the intersection of systems and storytelling, innovation and heritage.
