Spicy Blush, Wind Flush And Freckles: How To Recreate Chloé's Boho Beauty At Home

We went backstage at Chloé's AW26 Paris Fashion Week show. Here's how to bring the wind-flushed, freckled glow home with you.

Boho beauty is what Chloé does best. Flouncy skirts, pretty prints, and makeup that feels both beautiful and effortless were just some of the highlights at the label's Paris Fashion Week AW26 show, which I was lucky enough to witness from the bustle of backstage.

Behind the hair — think brushed-out crimps, tousled waves, and gold-tone jewellery threaded through extra-long braids — was Dyson, proving its prowess with hot tools and styling serums. While Saie took the reins on makeup, proving that clean beauty can more than hold its own against the longstanding performance brands that typically dominate the fashion show circuit. Something I'm very much here for, and I suspect I'm not alone.

Taking its lead from the collection, where Creative Director Chemena Kamali placed empathy, connection, and a focus on traditional costume and folkloric craft at centre stage, the makeup echoed that same spirit. Natural skin, flushed cheeks, and faux freckles nodded to long days spent in the sun. Soft bronzing spoke to a love of the outdoors. And relaxed, barely-there eyes brought a nomadic freshness to the over-arching aesthetic. The result? Dewy, beautiful and entirely lived-in. So naturally, I asked lead Saie makeup artist Yadim Carranza exactly how to achieve it at home. Consider it your spring/summer go-to.

Makeup artist Yadim Carranza on how to recreate the look:

Face

Slip Tint Tinted Moisturiser was pressed into the skin to create a fresh, luminous base, then mixed with Glowy Super Gel in Starglow to layer up the radiance while keeping that skin-first finish. A little more Glowy Super Gel was tapped onto the high points of the face for a subtle, light-catching glow.

Cheeks

Dew Bronze in Salt was softly stippled across the cheeks and nose to mimic natural sun exposure and outdoor warmth. Dew Blush in Spicy was then pressed into the centre of the cheeks and blended downward for a wind-flushed effect — that particular flush you get after time spent in the cold. Freckles in a soft stone tone were lightly stippled across the nose and cheeks, then diffused with a brush to give the skin natural texture.

Eyes

A soft wash of taupe shadow was blended across the lids using Dew Bronze in Salt to subtly define the eyes, while keeping the overall look effortless and undone.

Brows

Brushed up and left deliberately slightly messy for a lived-in, nomadic feel.
