The Pink Door Off Berkeley Square: Inside London's Most Beautiful Aesthetics Clinic

Dr Joseph Hkeik has spent his career proving that how you feel is just as important as how you look. His London clinic, Le Petit Saint, is where that philosophy has a UK home.

If the term aesthetics clinic conjures images of white walls, gleaming floors and an almost sterile environment, you're far from alone. As a beauty editor, I have seen more than my fair share of hospital-adjacent settings. So, walking up to a pink door just off London's Berkeley Square, which opened into a blush-pink room complete with a marble fountain, crystal-cut wings and rich velvet sofas, was as unexpected as it was exciting. Five minutes with Dr Joseph Hkeik, aesthetic doctor and founder of Le Petit Saint, and it was easy to understand why just as much attention has been given to the interiors as to the curated treatments offered inside.

Artistry and cosmetic medicine are inseparable, he tells me. Alongside an impressive list of medical credentials, including a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and fellowships with the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, the College of General Practice and the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia, Dr Hkeik is also a sculptor. Which is why Le Petit Saint, with its generously proportioned treatment rooms, living room-style consulting offices and corridors of high-grade equipment, feels closer to an art gallery than a medical facility, and all the more calming for it.

This, of course, was the intention. Dr Hkeik set out to "create a modern sanctuary of skin, a space of discretion and calm where aesthetic medicine and wellness come together". And that he did. "It's designed to remove the noise and allow a more focused, personalised approach, supported by advanced technology and thoughtful protocols. The aim is to deliver results that support skin health, longevity and a more refined, long-term outcome."

Alongside the expected aesthetics offering of hyaluronic acid filler, Profhilo, biostimulators and skin boosters, plus a treatment menu longer than my arm, Le Petit Saint also encompasses a dedicated wellness centre. I stepped into a hyperbaric oxygen chamber and a psychoacoustic energy pod, the latter of which only reinforced the idea that 20 minutes is the ideal length for a nap. But this 360-degree focus is actually the clinic's core foundation. "It's deeply personal to how I practise," Dr Hkeik says. "I've always approached aesthetic medicine in a more holistic way, with the belief that true outcomes start with how a person feels, not just how they look. Long before wellness became a focus, I was integrating elements like nutrition and broader lifestyle considerations into patient care." We even discussed the potential addition of a wellness bar to the site, one that could offer skin-boosting elixirs and a sense of community among those who walk through the door.

"Le Petit Saint was an opportunity to bring that philosophy to life more fully, combining clinical precision with a dedicated wellness offering, advanced technology and a highly personalised approach. It allows us to support patients more completely, both internally and externally, in a way that feels elevated but also deeply considered," he continues. Looking and feeling your best cannot come from an injection alone, and Le Petit Saint is quietly leading the way in that approach.

If you are looking for a setting in which to genuinely care for your skin, I could not recommend it more highly. Here's hoping the bar gets built.
